hi. we’re Carlie and Colin.

We have been best friends for almost 20 years, with a shared love for screenwriting. Script Daddy was born from our obsessive need to text each other in great detail about every movie we see, read as many scripts as possible, and always investigate what hits, what doesn’t, and why.

Colin

Some say Colin Edward Charles Moretz is a Los Angeles based screenwriter, but those who know him best consider him a modern mystic. After writing his first book at 8, his love for the written word has only grown stronger throughout his 36 years on the mortal plane. Though his main focuses are horror, fantasy, action, and adventure, everything Colin creates is filtered through the lens of comedy, as he strives to entertain viewers with his unique take on queer storytelling.

Carlie

Carlie made her way to LA by way of Minnesota many, many, many moons ago. She is a professional actress, screenwriter, script consultant and coach. Most importantly she is mom to her son Ziggy, and her soul dog Dharma lou. Her unending need to write has always been and continues to be rooted in her desire to tell stories that capture the depth of love, grief, and connection she is fortunate enough to have experienced in this life. Drama and comedy are her pillar genres for both writing and watching.
